Properly resourced inspection regime needed in Derogation plan — Green Party

The Green Party will seek a properly resourced inspection and enforcement regime on all farms in a new plan to retain Ireland’s Nitrates Derogation, which will be discussed at Cabinet today.

The Minister for Agriculture, Charlie McConalogue, will present a memo to Cabinet today outlining the Departments of Agriculture and Housing’s strategy to increase their political and technical engagement at the European level.
