Found my old kite bag: A trip down memory lane.

I used to work summers at Windchasers with Jim and Cathy. I have so many memories with these kites.

Great stuff. I once had a stack of 12 Cheetah. That was a blast! Ferocious!

Thanks for sharing!

I never stacked cheetahs. There was some kind of competitor to it at the time that was a bit more nimble but i forget what it was. I stacked a few of those but they were very fast.

Nice, that's one of the few Joel scholz kites I don't own. Always wanted to fly a psycho as well

The Luna Moth was my go to. So elegant and capable. I flew a Stranger when they came out (Jim lent it to me) but bought a psycho. They were so capable for their time. I remember the Flexifoil vhs videos, watching them fly off of bridges and up cliffs. It was awesome. The psycho is just faster. Still super stable and fun! I really wish I had a Stranger.

I have probably 20 of Joel's kites, and love the original 8 foot flexis. Have a 3.3m sting that I'm used to flying in crappy Pennsylvania wind, brought it out on the beach in mexico and thought it was gonna kill me!

Happen to have any Moths laying around?? 👀 trying to find one in good shape, let me know!

20? Wow! Yeah, I remember flying a 6' flexifoil. Pretty neat concept.

They're still a lot of fun, I flew ONE of my 8 footers the same day my 3.3 tried to take me for a ride. I used to stack them. It's like flying a kenworth

Flexifoil Psycho... My first stunt kite. Bought it because of the totally rad VHS tape it came with.

...never did learn to fly that thing very well, even with all kinds of bridle mods like a turbo bridle. But soooo much fun. I still have mine but haven't flown it in ages.

I remember they had some prototype colors on those videos (for the Stranger too) that were so rad!

The red stunt kite with the dragon on it reminds me of the dragon with the use for the mortal Kombat logo.
