Margaret Pavlik Bury OBITUARY

BURY, MARGARET PAVLIK, is now walking the streets of gold with our Lord. She passed away peacefully on August 21, 2012, in Orlando, FL. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Bury. Margaret was born on May 19, 1929, in Munhall, PA. She was joined in marriage to Edward on August 27, 1947. In 1955, the young couple moved to Wilton Manors, FL to start a new life and business together. For many years, Margaret was an active member of Saint Clement Catholic Church. While raising her six children, she worked as a para-professional at North Andrews Gardens Elementary School in Oakland Park. She retired after twenty-five years, and relocated to Georgia and Central Florida to live with her daughters. Margaret was very proud of her Slavic heritage, and was passionate about carrying on holiday traditions. She enjoyed spending time with her eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Yelling BINGO, playing Scrabble, and traveling with her family were some of her favorite pastimes. However, hearing the ching, ching, ching of a winning slot machine truly put a smile on her face. She leaves behind four loving siblings, Helen, Lizzie, Bonnie and Gigi; her son, Robert (his wife, Mary) Bury; her daughters, Tina (her husband, Brian) Bogen, Cheryl (her husband, Lee) Walters, Marybeth (her husband, Vern) Comney, Lori (her husband, Ken “Mac”) McCarron, and Donna (her husband, Fernando) Borges; her grandchildren, Chris (his wife, Mary) Bogen, Valerie (her husband, Jimmy) Yeager, Jeff (his wife, Jessica) Bogen, Adrianne Herrera, Michael Walters, Jordan (his fiancée, Carly Taylor) Walters, Vernon (his partner, Nichole Olson) Comney, Nick Comney, Holly Comney, Teresa Borges and S tephen Borges; and her great-grandchildren, Brody, Sawyer, Lanie, James, Wyatt, Connor, Cale, Cason, Carson, and Velouria. Marge and Ed’s legacy continues through their numerous children and grandchildren.
