Meet the Funny Animal Friends with Celebrity Voices in ‘If’!

A star-studded cast of celebrity voice actors is set to bring life to an upcoming animated comedy series. “If,” created by John Krasinski, features big names like George Clooney and Matt Damon in key roles.

The show revolves around a group of animals residing in the forest, each with a distinct personality and background. Clooney will lend his voice to Frank, a charming fox, while Damon will portray Chuck, a lovable but not-so-bright bear. Krasinski himself will voice Burt, a rabbit, alongside Maya Rudolph as Lola, a spirited squirrel, and Jason Bateman as Professor Wiseman, a wise owl.

Krasinski drew inspiration from his childhood experiences in the woods, where he observed animal behavior. His aim was to create a series that would captivate both young viewers and adults, blending humor and heart in equal measure.

“I’ve always found animal interactions fascinating,” Krasinski shared. “There’s a unique humor in humanizing these animal traits. With our stellar cast, we’re able to breathe life into these characters in a way that’s both amusing and endearing.”

Clooney and Damon are thrilled to be part of the project, with Clooney describing it as a joyous experience akin to his time on “Batman & Robin.” Damon expressed his excitement about portraying Chuck, a character he finds endearing despite his dim-witted nature.

Rudolph and Bateman are equally enthusiastic about their roles. Rudolph finds Lola’s sass reminiscent of her own daughter, adding a touch of humor and feistiness to the character. Bateman, on the other hand, relishes the depth and humor of Professor Wiseman, a character he considers one of his most complex yet rewarding roles.

The series “If” promises to be a delightful addition to the world of animation, blending top-tier voice talent with clever storytelling. Audiences of all ages can look forward to a mix of humor, heart, and entertainment in this upcoming comedy series.
