Job ; Chapter 41, verse 1 - 5
The Lord Speaks
“Can you pull in Leviathan with a fishhook or tie down its tongue with a rope? 2 Can you put a cord through its nose or pierce its jaw with a hook? 3 Will it keep begging you for mercy? Will it speak to you with gentle words? 4 Will it make an agreement with you for you to take it as your slave for life? 5 Can you make a pet of it like a bird or put it on a leash for the young women in your house?
ایّوب ! بتا ، کیا تو لبیا تھان [a] ( سمندری عفریت ) کو کسی مچھلی کے کانٹے سے پکڑ سکتا ہے ؟
کیا تو اسکی زبان کو رسی سے باندھ سکتا ہے؟
2 ایوب ! کیا تو اسکی ناک میں رسی ڈال سکتا ہے ؟
یا اسکا جبڑا ہک سے چھید سکتا ہے ؟
3 ایّوب ! کیا وہ آزاد ہونے کے لئے تجھ سے منت سماجت کریگا ؟
کیا وہ تجھ سے میٹھی باتیں کرے گا ؟
4 کیا وہ تجھ سے معاہدہ کرے گا
کہ تو ہمیشہ کے لئے اسے نوکر بنالے ؟
5 ایّوب ! کیاتو اس سے ویسے ہی کھیلے گا ، جیسے تو کسی چڑیا سے کھیلتا ہے ؟
کیا تو اسے رسی سے باندھے گا ، جس سے تیری خادما ئیں اس سے کھیل سکیں ؟
My point of view about above verses
God told human race through Job that the fear of Lord is wisdom and to shun evil is understanding
Lord spoke with Job out of storm and asked him questions;
God asked Job do you know who made the monstor of the sea - can you catch it and play it as played with your pet
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
