Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson - Scream (Official Video)
This might be one of the most under-appreciated songs ever. The remarkable duet for Michael and Janet Jackson produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis with a trendsetting short film. The song peaked at #5 on the Hot 100 and #2 on the R & B chart. First time Michael Jackson used an f-bomb on wax too.
What a song. The perfect way to introduce an incredible album.
The video overshadowed the song IMHO
And if I’m not mistaken that was Janet that mainly sang the f-bomb, not Michael (Janet sang most of the chorus).
They were doing the “stop pressuring me” together and it becomes “stop fucking with me.”
Yeah something like that
iconic song. and video
This song is so amazing and underrated.
The song I sing at work on tough days

R&B?
Yeah, I was surprised when I first saw this post on the RnB thread too. I do consider it R&B, but only to a certain degree. It’s rly a mix of that with electronic-rock, dance-pop and new jack swing.
