Neil Young & Crazy Horse played 2 nights at Forest Hills Stadium (night 2 pics, setlists, full video)
Neil Young & Crazy Horse‘s first tour in 10 years stormed into NYC this week for two nights at Forest Hills Stadium on Tuesday and Wednesday. Storm being a key word; it was a little rainy and chilly both nights, but Neil and the band weathered mother nature (and sound problems on Tuesday), delivering sets full of many classics.
Both shows opened with “Cortez the Killer” and “Cinnamon Girl” and ended with “Rockin’In the Free World,” and also included “Don’t Cry No Tears,” “Like a Hurricane,” “Powderfinger” and more. Neil played a solo acoustic for a few songs at the end of the main set as well, including “Heart of Gold” and “Human Highway.” Wednesday night also got the tour debuts of “Mansion on the Hill,” and during the acoustic set, “Sugar Mountain.”
