O'Fallon, Illinois - Dolores Keller, better known as "Dee," was born on September 8, 1928, and passed away on May 10, 2024 at her home in Chatham, Ill.

Dee grew up in O'Fallon, Ill., and graduated from O'Fallon Township HS in May 1946. She went to work at Scott Air Force Base in the A-1 Officer Section until the spring of 1949. Dee then became a stay-at-home mom until January 1966 when she went to work at Bank of O'Fallon. She held many different positions there and retired as an Assistant Vice President in the spring of 1995. She was the beloved wife to "Satch Keller." They married on September 4, 1948 at St. Clare Catholic Church and were married 72 years. They were blessed with four children: Kathy (Rick) Davis, Steve, Mary Beth (Greg) Lippold, and Chrisie (Tom) Haase.

Dee loved to work in her yard and keep her house clean. Over the years, she belonged to the Women's card club, Red Hat Ladies, O'Fallon Jaycees, St. Clare and St. Nicholas church choirs, and her favorite 55 & older group "Yesterday's Kids" – a ministry at St. Nicholas Church where she was treasurer for six years.

She was a proud grandma to Jamie (Stephanie) Davis, Matthew (Abby) Davis, Caitlin (Brandon) Marchand, Lauren (Pat) Barnes, Parker (Kara) Lippold, Caden Lippold, Brittany (Jacob) Brown and Graham Haase, and great-grandma to Jessica, Natalie, and Elena Davis, Audra and Stella Davis, Gracyn Keller, Maverick Marchand, Sadie Barnes, Ryder Brown.

She also leaves one brother Jim Munie, sisters Mary Jean Wheatley, Pat Gagne, Janet (Roger) Ranek and Karen (Bob) Cotter, sister-in-law Norma Keller, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Harold "Satch" Keller, parents Oscar "Doc" and Matilda, nee Rapp, Munie; her beloved son Steve; brother Bill (Gerry) Munie, sister Vernell Goodman, sister-in-law Sally Jo Munie and brothers-in-law Ralph Keller, Ray Wheatley, Paul Gagne; parents-in-law Edgar and Elizabeth, nee Collins, Keller.

I lived next door to Mr and Mrs Keller when I moved to OFallon in 3rd grade. Kathy and I became life long friends. Kathy's Mom was delightful. I liked the car she drove. She was always very kind to me. I was very upset when Kathy told me they were moving into OFallon by the high school. So right after I got my drivers licenses I went to their new home. After my visit I got my first driving ticket! Kathy and I are still best friends forever. I did learn to come to a complete stop at stop signs. Mrs. Keller I thank you for all you gave to my childhood . I know we will always love and think of you. To Kathy may you and your family be blessed and I am sure your Dad is so glad to see your Mom in heaven. I am catching your tears dear friend. I love you
