GFOB Unveils Trade Brand Campaign, Portal and Education Platform

“We’ve Got U.” That’s the message the Globus family of brands (GFOB) is sending Travel Advisors with its new business-to-business brand marketing platform. To drive that message home, this week, the company which markets and sells Globus, Cosmos And Avalon Waterways is unveiling a new Travel Advisor Portal (TAP) for partners – which includes this introductory message from President and Chief Executive Officer Scott Nisbet – and “GFOB U” education platform.

“When we tell Advisors that we’ve got you, we mean it,” said Camille Olivere, chief sales officer for the Globus family of brands. “With this launch, we’re rolling out the proverbial red carpet for ‘U’ – Travel Advisor partners – with messaging and new tools that showcases the fact that Travel Advisors are at the center of everything we do. Together, we make an unbeatable team delivering experiences of a lifetime to our clients.”

Everything U Need to Succeed. In addition to placing a spotlight on “U” – the Travel Advisor, the hero – as part of its new marketing platform, the Globus family of brands has unveiled a “Phase 1” update to its’ Travel Advisor Portal (TAP).

“On our new, improved TAP, we’re providing Advisors a one-stop-shop to explore next-generation river cruising options and a dozen styles of touring, in more than 70 countries, on six continents,” said Olivere. “But that’s not all. For the first time, Advisors not only have easy access to search our brands, styles and itineraries in one place, they can now share the details directly with clients with a new ‘co-branding’ feature, providing a personal, call-to-action, offering them a seamless, research-to-booking platform, making it easier than ever to convert leads to sales.”

The Globus family of brands’ new TAP includes:

  • Marketing: Introducing the capability for Advisors to share itineraries, co-branded with their contact information, enhancing communications and sales opportunities.
  • Navigation: The new portal’s updated design and user interface make for an improved – and more intuitive – Advisor experience.
  • Search: The new TAP makes it easier than ever for Advisors to search for the perfect itinerary for a client’s specific interests and needs.
  • Reservation Management: Advisors can book travel experiences and manage client reservations – including accessing all necessary documentation – in real-time, as available.
  • Resources: Advisors also have access to a wealth of marketing materials and product information, readily available for promotion and use.
  • Partners for Profit: Plus, in addition to a national sales force behind Advisors, they are invited to enjoy new training tools to empower success.

Our partnership with Advisors goes beyond providing extraordinary travel experiences and a variety of travel styles for their clients; we’re interested in their profitability,” added Olivere. “As a dedicated 'Partner for Profit', we’re focused on helping Advisors grow their business. The improved TAP is a big part of that commitment.”

GFOB U Got This. Like the harmony of bagpipes & plaid, Italy & gelato, Spain & paella … The Globus family of brands believes in the pairing of comprehensive knowledge with keen industry insights. The company’s new GFOB U – also launching this week – showcases this fact, inviting Advisors to dive into a new educational platform, tailor-made for them. GFOB U unites background information with core, educational components, creating a holistic – and harmonious – learning environment.

“We’re committed to ensuring that Advisors are not just informed – but also inspired,” said Olivere. “With this new, improved GFOB U, we’re showcasing that knowledge is power. Combining our global expertise with unparalleled product offerings; incomparable commission structure with sales strategies, GFOB U sets the stage for Advisors to learn, grow and enjoy sales success with us.”

Working For U. Nearly a century in the making, the Globus family of brands delivers clients every way in the world to experience the world. While all Globus, Cosmos and Avalon Waterways vacations are perfectly planned to merge people, places and memories, they’re also designed to connect travelers to each destination, bridging interests and passions.

With hundreds of vacations – and a dozen travel styles – clients can travel nearly anywhere in the world with a company they – and their Advisor partners – can count on. GFOB U presents Advisors with a new, inspiring educational platform to learn, grow and garner even more success.

U Had Me At Hello. For those Travel Advisors who are not yet registered on the Globus family of brands’ TAP, login is quick and easy. Advisors can also sign-up for bi-weekly emails or join the company’s dedicated trade Facebook group.

We’re Not Globus Without U. The Globus family of brands’ success is a collective effort, built on the expertise and dedication of Travel Advisors. “It’s not just about creating exceptional journeys for clients, ensuring they receive the quality and experience they’re looking for,” said Olivere. “Advisors are at heart of our journey and we’re so grateful to work together to deliver more ‘wow’ in the world, one traveler at a time. We hope that our new trade marketing and messaging, focused on ‘U’ showcases our commitment to partnership and our gratitude.”

Travel Advisor Appreciation Month: In recognition of its’ important Travel Advisor community, the Globus family of brands is providing Advisors the chance to earn up to a $100 booking incentive on new bookings made in May. Advisors can find details here.
