Jared Goff signs 4-year, $212 million contract extension
Goff will be the highest-paid player in franchise history.
Jared Goff has signed a four-year, $212 million contract extension, with $170 million guaranteed, according to multiple reports.
In the 2021 offseason, Detroit acquired Goff, two future first-round picks and a third-round pick in exchange for Matthew Stafford. Coming off, arguably his worst professional season as a full-time starter, there were plenty of questions about his long-term future with the team.
Now 29 years old, coming off back-to-back 4,000+ yard seasons, Goff will be tied to Detroit until he is 34 years old.
