Who are the other double duties? I only know Michelle Yeoh (GotG, Shang-Chi) and Gemma Chan (Captain Marvel, Eternals).

Judy Greer (Ant-man, GotG3), Laura Haddock (CA:TFA, GotG), Kenneth Choi (CA:TFA, Homecoming), Linda Cardilinni (Laura Barton, Lyla in GotG3), Mikaela Hoover (GotG, GotG3 as diff characters) are some

Don't forget David Dastmalchian. He played Veb and Kurt in the Ant-Man films.

I bet there are couple of other actors that we're forgetting.

Josh Brolin

Chris Evans

They've only played Thanos and Steve, unless you're referring to the MCEU.

Alfre Woodard (Mariah Dillard in Luke Cage, grieving mother in CA:CW)

Stokes. Mariah Stokes.

Also with the Guardians are Stephen Blackheart, who played the Knowhere radio operator and a ravager in the second film, and Nathan Fillion, who played the large alien in Guardians 1 and the head of Orgocorp security in Guardians 3.

Does Benedict Cucumberpatch count? He played Strange but also voiced and mo-capped Dormammu; i feel like if Mikaela Hoover counts then that has to count too, right?

Ponytail Express in Iron Man 3 was the fake Vanko in Iron Man 2

Mahershala Ali as Cottonmouth and Blade.

Thanks! Time to rewatch some stuff.

Gilfoyle in Hulk and Peter Parker's teacher.

That’s actually the same character I’m pretty sure. Not on purpose but they retconned it to be him iirc

u/caniuserealname avatar

The novelisation of the hulk had him as Amadeus Cho.

Was never technically canon, but somewhat interesting.

All the ones u/jcj44 and u/Ambivalo listed below for sure. And since its looking more and more like the Netflix shows are becoming MCU canon with Daredevil on the way, an argument could be made for both Luke Cage alumni Alfre Woodard (Mariah Dillard, and played Miriam in Civil War) and Mahershala Ali (Cottonmouth, and Blade... and technically Blade's voice in the end-credit scene from Eternals). A further canon argument could be made for Enver Gjokaj, who played Daniel Sousa in Agent Carter and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, and also played a street cop during the Battle of New York in The Avengers.

One we almost got but didn't was Vin Diesel as both Groot, and as Black Bolt in the scrapped Inhumans movie. Instead we got Anson Mount as a maskless Black Bolt in the failed non-canon Inhumans limited series, and his reprisal as a proper Black Bolt in Multiverse of Madness.

non-canon

Nobody has ever confirmed or denied the show's canon status. We simply don't know.

I've seen some mentioned already, but a fun one is Benedict Cumberbatch is Dormammu, so 2 characters in the same movie

Did he have any lines in GotG?

u/ignorememe avatar

The shot was not damaging.

Or something like that.

How did they have him and NOT give him more lines? Dude's voice is awesome!

u/iamtheillintent avatar

Ebon Moss Bachrach in Punisher as Micro and as The Thing in Fantastic Four

Galactus just vibing with Mary Poppins while he scopes out the next snack.

u/gilestowler avatar

He's thrown a kettle over a pub, what have you done?

u/Yagami-Is-Kira avatar

Chris Finch? Bloody good rep

“Director, the shot was non-damaging”

u/UniversalChimera avatar

Are those movies considered canon?

u/Brottorman avatar

Maybe he was G all along

OP seems to have forgotten to provide any semblance of a long list

Or you could try reading the comments instead of being snarky.

Checked the comments, you didn't post a list.

u/LightPsyche avatar

I'm with the other guy here...your wording implies YOU would've provided the list
