She was predeceased by : her mother Mary Dykstra (Glasbergen). She is survived by : her husband Steve Sytsma; her father John Dykstra (Catherine); and her brothers, Kevin, Jeff (Consuello), Henry Dykstra (Melissa) and Darius Bayegan (Sophie). She is also survived by many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and her church family.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tallman Funeral Home (3277 King St, Vineland, ON L0R2C0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Gospel Church (4129 Hixon St, Beamsville, ON L0R1B7).
