Tammy Abraham says player Chelsea sold is the best he’s ever played with

Tammy Abraham has played with some fantastic players during his career.

From Jack Grealish to Paulo Dybala, Abraham has played with some top players over the years.

Speaking to JD Football on TikTok, the England striker was asked to name the best player he’s ever played with, and, interestingly, he picked a former Chelsea teammate as the best he’s ever worked alongside.

Eden Hazard named as Tammy Abraham’s greatest teammate

The striker spoke about Hazard, claiming that he’s the best he’s ever played with.

“Best player you’ve played with?” Abraham was asked.

“Best player I’ve played with has to be Eden Hazard. Just the things he could do on the ball. On training he didn’t look bothered, but as soon as he steps on the pitch in the game he’s a different animal, a different type of player,” Abraham said.

Tammy Abraham saw Eden Hazard at his best

Abraham was very lucky to get to play with Hazard at the peak of his powers.

The Belgian very quickly declined after Chelsea sold him to Real Madrid, but, in his prime, the winger was nothing short of magic.

To say that Hazard had it all would be apt, the attacker could dribble, he could score goals, he had perhaps the best first touch the Premier League has ever seen, and he had so much flair.

Abraham got to see Hazard at his brilliant best, and while the two didn’t overlap all that much at Chelsea, with Abraham breaking through under Frank Lampard the season after Hazard left the club, it’s clear that the Belgian left a serious impression on the Roma striker.

Unfortunately, Hazard burned out soon after leaving Chelsea and he has since retired from professional football, but anyone who saw him at his best would tell you what a special player he was for Chelsea.
