I'm pretty sure it's Einhell doing it not Bunnings/Ozito, all they are doing is chucking Ozito branding stickers on Einhell products as they continually update their line

        • You are probably right.

  • +1

bought the BRUSHED recip saw n multi tool yesterday. guess i'll return them for these brushless oness. tks

  • +1

Finally the recip saw 🙏 All too often I can't be bothered getting the chainsaw out for a few medium branches and just saw them by hand

    • Few 1-2" branches i use ratchet loppers

      • Yeah I use my loppers where I can, don't have ratchet ones though. Mostly have a lot of fallen branches I need to make manageable to move so I either use loppers, whack them with the sledge hammer, or hand saw them. Recip will be much easier

  • Can't seem to order delivery via Onepass, even though there is stock at my local store. Anyone else getting this? Trying to get multitool

    • Deliveries don't always come from your closest store. I have to check stock at a different store when after delivery.

    • Ordered mine yesterday (reciprocating saw and battery) via OnePass… got delivered today to my surprise.

  • Thanks OP! Got Reciprocating Saw.

  • 5 bux more for PXRSS-400, which is better?

    • this is brushless.

    • brushless is better

    • It's now out of stock. Can I get a "rain check" so I get one at this price when new stock comes in ?

  • +3

If you buy using Onepass you get '365 day change of mind returns'. So can satisfy the impulse buy and buyers regret.

  • I modified my Milwaukee batteries years ago to work in a ozito 2x18v blower, bought these 2 skins to go with it

    • They look really close. How much work was there?

  • How much is the battery though?

  • Bought the $50 brushed version of the multi tool & reciprocating saw this morning. Returned both and got the brushless versions with a $12 refund. Thanks OP.

  • +1

Fantastic deal. Unfortunately I don't need either, lol.

  • just curious, is there a way to use Ryobi batteries with ozito tools?

    I have plenty Ryobi batteries.

    • +1

Might be difficult for Ryobi One+ Battery -> Ozito PXC Tools, since Ryobi battery sticks out the top. (EDIT: Apparently it does exist, ~$33 on eBay)

I know Ozito PXC Battery -> Ryobi One+ Tools adapter exists though.

        • 20 on gumtree + shipping

  • Bought the saw, multi tool and angle grinder. Thanks Op!

  • Looks like better than this $49 one
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/846038

    • Yep, this deal is for the more expensive and better Brushless variant.

      • Wonder these are sold much faster. Cheers op.

  • Could you put a suitable blade on the multi tool to cut through bones for at home butchery of meat? Thinking of getting it for cutting up legs of lamb or cross cutting short ribs.

    • +6

      Nice try Jeffrey Damher.

    • +1

      Asking for a friend?

    • Yes, have cut up roadkill to feed dogs, a blunt blade ground to a knife point is best, you can get a butload of attachments including wire or nylon scrubbing brushes and scrappers, made preparing my camper for painting easy, though it shakes the living crap outa ya!

      • ROFL, be careful browsing for attachments. Some were very much NSFW.

    • +1

I reckon the angle grinder if you really wanna butcher

    • Wouldn't the recip saw work better for that?

      • I've tried the recip before and it's a bit too aggressive/wild for using in the kitchen.

  • Cheers op. Been waiting for this for a while!

  • Probably just a coincidence but my local store had the reciprocating saw and multi tool on the lowest shelves and stock was sideways rather than facing out.

Just remember to double check the product codes and look for brushless.

  • So I bought the brushed one like two months ago. took it out looked at it but never used. wonder if I'll be able to return it and get this?

    • If it's unopened, in a saleable condition and you have the receipt it should be fine. Last month I returned a ryobi blower I had purchased in July 2023. It was still a current model blower so not sure whether that made any difference.

  • Oh damn. Bought one about 1.5 months ago for $64. This one is a good deal.

    • +1

Bought one about 1.5 months ago for $64.

That was most likely the brushed version of the tool (not brushless).

      • You are correct. I bought the brushed one.

  • Order got cancelled from two stores, trying luck on third

    • Order under your onepass account if you have one. Order gets collected quicker. My order was ready for collection within 30 minutes of placing my order.

      • +1

I done with one pass !
Edit third time lucky order ready to collect

    • Ordered 1 each but only 1 got ready to collect. I guess I will get a cancellation email soon for the reciprocating saw.

  • I have the multi use tool and its useless for sanding, the sanding pads just dont grip onto the hook / loop face at all. However its great for everything else and getting a proper sander is easy enough.

  • Great deal on the recip saw, trying to find one to buy!

I’ve already got the multi tool, goes pretty well! Anyone got suggestions on extra / replacement blades for it?

  • Ordered for delivery, probably a noob mistake as this is never shipping

  • +5

Well my closest bunnings went out of stock between ordering and paying so I drove 25 minutes out of my way to buy two tools I'm not sure what I'll use for.

What a great day. Thanks ozbargain.com.au!

  • I don't have any other Ozito tools. Still pulled the trigger, hoping the selected store has stock for click & collect.

For those who have this saw: would it work with the 2.5Ah battery? In that case this battery & charger kit for $25 should be all I need to get it running, right?

    • +2

Yep will work with the 2.5Ah.
In certain applications the smaller battery is preferrable for being smaller and lighter.

      • Thanks! I had hoped so. :-)

Mostly planning to use it for small jobs around the house where I used manual saws so far. Trimming a few thicker branches, cutting PVC pipe, etc.

    • +1

I get plenty of time out of a 2ah battery.

  • +1

Just picked mine up. A great deal, something I've been waiting patiently for!!

Will be sure to get some quality blades, per earlier comments.

  • +1

Anybody hesitating on this don't, just did my click and collect and they had ten stacked up waiting for collection, they are selling fast.

  • Dam….Bought the ryobi one for 99….

  • Awesome deal! Fingers crossed the polishing tool will also come down to $44 at one point in time.

  • all stores near me are out of stock :-(

  • all stores seem they’ve ran out the door, I did a Powerpass click and collect at 4:10pm but I think the people picking the orders stop at 4pm, so since then all the stock was sold to walk ins…I should’ve went in asap - lesson learned it will be cancelled!

    • I ordered at 6, just got a dispatch notification. Luck of the draw.

  • Had the email to pick up from local bunnings but when i went in they couldnt find it, ended up saying they would deliver it out to me.

    • delivery guy turned up at 7am this morning. that was quick

  • my click and collect cancelled. asked for delivery and denied. placed another order from another store for delivery. fingers crossed.

  • due to stock inaccuracy- no stores local have this line (Saw Recip C/Less Bİ Ozito Pxc: 18v Sk…

Looks like technical issue from the say.

  • Really need this one, please PM me if anyone would like to return it somehow, Thanks :-)

  • +2

I bought 3, angle grinder, saw and multi tool.. Lady at counter says.. .. you're not from ozbargain are you? why? we've had a few people in here this arvo buying from there…. well yes, I'm one too.. LOL

  • if anyone in Melbourne having 2nd thought of Reciprocating Saw after purchase ,happy to buy it at higher price >.< just saw this deal and need to cut some tree branches..

  • Says not in stock at local store when I choose delivery but doesn't let me change. The system is struggling. Possibly sold out generally.

  • Thanks Op ordered both the brushless saw and sanding tools , mostly all sold out except Arundel in QLD

  • was able to pick up one of each for click n collect this arvo

  • +1

I got both these units this afternoon. No price stickers on the shelf showing the reduced price. $44 is a bargain. The staff member said it is an Ozito promo and will end on the 29th unless sold out. My store had plenty of stock left.

  • No stock of brushless saw north of Melbourne…. Great offer!

  • no stock of brushless saw, im from SA… someone help! I have one pass and it won't let me deliver. HELP

  • Bought from 3 different bunnings for c&c, all cancelled

    • You should ask them for a voucher, Bunnings is preety good in honouring the items and if they are unable to offer the item generally they will give you a free voucher on the house

  • come on bunnings you know you want to price match

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-brushless-pruning-…

  • out of stock everywhere :(

  • Ordered online but now refunded they couldn’t supply, they offered the non brushless instead but I said no

    • was it a click and collect or delivery?

      • Delivery, ended up being passed to three other stores all had said they had 1 or 2 in stock when the previous store transferred the order eventually the north Brisbane store (I’m on the Southside but they try and pass the orders to stores with stock if they don’t have it) called me and said they can’t find any with actual stock around … exact words were “it’s a unicorn here in qld”

        • I thought delivery will be handled by central warehouse or something. is it stores maintain delivery?

          • @CrypticM: All my deliveries have come from stores often I notice in the my orders page the store will change like tonight’s went from acacia ridge to bendable to keperra

  • +4

Poor aldi. Their power tools business model bit flawed given of you needed a tool quickly you can't just walk in or order it.. I don't like Bunnings tactics here but they've won again and again

  • Ordered 7 hours ago for Delivery with a OnePass trial, has anybody received anything more than the initial order confirmation email?

    • Ordered with OnePass, got another email indicating it’s been dispatched.

      • Thanks, I won't get my hopes up then.

  • +2

the brushless multi tool is a big step up from the brushed one imho. brushed unit just had a rubber battery mount to isolate the battery from vibration. the brushless isolates the entire motor unit so it has very little vibration in any part of the body.

    absolute steal at 44 dollars

  • oos

  • Wouldn’t mind the saw. But the batteries and charger required I’d be up at almost $150. Hmms

    • Battery and charger is only $25. Thats $70 all up.

I get plenty of runtime with a 2Ah battery on a brushed recip saw. 2.5Ah on a brushless will be significantly better.

  • Sorry guys a bit off topic. I got into the Ryobi ecosystem and I never ever find any discounts like Ozito. Did I make a mistake?

I need a decent saw or multipurpose tool but Ryobi skin is so expensive.

    • Ozito pretty much only goes on discount when Bunnings tries to price match someone (Aldi).
