He is survived by : his wife Geraldine Melancon Dilly of Maurice; his son Nick Dilly (Emily) of Indian Bayou; his grandchildren, Harper Rae and Emmie Sue Dilly; his sister Julia D. Vincent (Bruce) of Houston; his in-laws, Cathy Wadsworth, Ginger McCavitt (Bob) and Gerald Melancon (Ann); his nieces and nephews, Erin Vogt (Stuart), Lindsey Vines (Robert), Robbie Wadsworth (Jessica), Jonathan McCavitt (Samantha) and Brent Melancon; and his extended family, Sarah Ancelet and Reid Latiolais.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 18th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home (301 N Ave F, Crowley, LA 70526). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Church (224 W 5th St, Crowley, LA 70526).
