Madame Web has been one of the most talked-about movies from late 2023 to early 2024, not only because of the star-studded cast but also because it was labeled as one of the worst.

Despite being heavily criticized for its unconvincing narrative and having earned relatively little for a Marvel production, it has returned to trend, this time among American Netflix users.

The dramatic title was added to the streaming platform on Tuesday, May 14, and since then has been gaining viewers, now consolidating as the most-watched in the American catalog.

Madame Web ranked Top 1 movie on Netflix US

Action, adventure and science fiction are some of the elements that characterize the story of Madame Web, which has captivated American Netflix users in just one day, now ranking as No. 1 on the Top 10.

Flix Patrol reported this morning that the Marvel movie not only became a strong trend on the day of its addition but is now categorized as the most-watched on the platform in the United States.

Sony Pictures was the company responsible for developing the spin-off that is part of the Spider-Man cinematic universe. The adaptation was directed by S.J. Clarkson, who is known for the series Jessica Jones.

The character of Madame Web, whose real name is Cassandra Webb, is known for her ability to see the future and perceive events beyond ordinary perception. She has served as a mentor and advisor to various heroes in the MCU.

Dakota Johnson is the one who has brought her to life, accompanied by some of the actresses of the moment: Sydney Sweeney as Julia Cornwall, Isabela Merced as Anya Corazón, Celeste O’Connor and Emma Roberts as Mary Parker.
