Gavin and Stacey star Alison Steadman has confirmed that she will be returning for the final episode.
Following the confirmation that series creators James Corden and Ruth Jones had reunited to write a final episode to air on Christmas Day, fans have been left wondering whether or not they'll see the entire cast back together on screen.
Steadman has now confirmed to The Sun that she'll be reprising her role as fan-favourite character Pamela Shipman.
The actor explained that it was still early days for the special, but added: "Yes... I know it's going to happen."

"I just haven't seen the script – none of us has seen the script."
Steadman has appeared in all three series of the BBC sitcom as Gavin's mother. She was often seen alongside her husband Mick (played by Larry Lamb) hosting Stacey's family at their Essex home and fretting over her son's wellbeing.
The actor has confirmed that Lamb will also be returning for the festive episode, telling the publication: "As far as I know, yes.
"We only found out (it was happening) for definite the other day," she added.

Actor and series co-writer Corden confirmed the news of a final Gavin & Stacey episode last week (May 3) after months of speculation.
Sharing an image of himself and Jones holding a script on Instagram, he wrote: "Some news… It's official!!! We have finished writing the last ever episode of Gavin and Stacey. See you on Christmas Day, BBC One. Love Ruth and James."
Further details about the Gavin & Stacey finale are still being kept tightly under wraps. However, it's likely the episode will resolve the massive cliffhanger seen in 2019's Christmas special – which saw Nessa proposing to Smithy in the episode's final moments.
Gavin and Stacey series 1-3 are available to stream on BBC iPlayer. The Gavin and Stacey 2024 Christmas Special will air on Christmas Day on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
