M&M Timber strengthens team with key appointments

14 May 2024

M&M Timber has further strengthened its team following the appointment of three key roles at the production site in Worcestershire.

Tom Oakley has joined the business as operations manager. He brings a wealth of manufacturing and operational experience, having previously worked with a number of international global organisations including Worcester Bosch and Kohler Mira Ltd. Based at Clows Top, Mr Oakley will be responsible for the operations, from raw timber arriving on site to the effective completion of finished products delivered to customers.

With more than 22 years of experience in heavy industry and a wide knowledge of engineering Chris Cadwallader has joined as maintenance manager.  He will be responsible for all site maintenance and improving asset reliability. The continued investment on site with infrastructure and machinery will also be a key part of his role.

To support the focus on a safe working environment, the business has appointed Lewis Hines as health and safety adviser. Working closely with Ben Whitehouse, group head of compliance (HSE) at Forest Garden Group, Mr Hines will be responsible for all health and safety on site at Clows Top. He joins the business following a degree-apprenticeship in dairy engineering and the completion of health and safety qualifications.
