I have never used Airbnb but thought it was like private owned properties like condos or apt or homes and such. For giggles I looked into them in Vegas and they show rooms at hotels on the strip. How is that possible and rates cheaper then booking with the hotel.

Seems to be Signature, Trump and Hilton Vacation Rentals amongst other condo resorts

So these are all places where individual units can be owned, yes?
AirBnB isn’t offering Bellagio or Luxor or other casino resort properties?
Two of them were flamingo and. Harrah's.
That makes sense to me. Your choices are all individually owned condos/timeshares, not hotels.
But I guess I'm way behind the 8-ball - wasn't it the rule at one time that an airbnb had to have the owner on premises, as opposed to, say, VRBO??

5 helpful votes You have it correct. These are privately owned condos. Of course the rates are cheaper. Why would anyone rent from them if the rates were the same or more than the hotel charges?
Be aware that there could be differences in service and amenities provided.

Well "Flamingo" could be HGVC Flamingo, but Harrah's makes no sense.
OP, what site are you finding these on?
I just went to the Airbnb website and put in Vegas then selected the properties listed on the strip
I had no idea those properties had condos

You are looking at the site of a 3rd party (Air Bnb) and assuming that information is correct. When you rely upon information from anyone other than the source, you do so at your own risk.
