Lazareth is a new thriller that has enticed in an actor who is no stranger to the genre in Ashley Judd, and to mark the release of the film, we had the pleasure in speaking to her, alongside her younger co-star Asher Angel.
We discuss the themes of the film, and the empowering feminist undercurrent, as well as how it connects to the pandemic, while Judd speaks very candidly about offering advice and guidance to the younger actresses on set, something she goes on to tell she didn’t receive herself. We also speak to Angel about his role in the DC Universe in Shazam!, and he speaks about balancing his film with his music work, and why a certain Justin Timberlake remains an inspiration.
