La Locus Science Fiction Foundation ha annunciato i finalisti all'edizione 2024 del Premio Locus. Indetto nel 1970, il premio, assegnato dai lettori della più importante rivista di settore, Locus, è sempre stato considerato un'indicazione sia per il voto sia per prevedere i risultati del Premio Hugo, che viene assegnato più avanti nell'anno. Negli ultimi cinque anni tre romanzi hanno vinto entrambi i premi. Rispetto all'Hugo, il Locus tende a premiare più spesso autori americani, e avendo la categoria romanzo suddivisa per generi, tende a premiare meno opere non facilmente etichettabili o di confine.
