Mother’s Day was Men’s Monthly Medal Medley Stroke and winner with a handicap breaking score was Aaron Purcell 75-10-65, r/u Jamie Wilkinson 85-15-70.

Berrigan
Friday's winner was Doug Cameron 41-7-34, r/u Chris Kelly 44-8-36. Jeff Stein won the putting with 13 and ball winner was John Walker 48-11.5-36.5.
Saturday's winner was Chris Kelly 43-7.5-35.5, r/u Jeff Stein 48-10.5-37.5. Putting Joe Karakai 13 putts and ball winner was Gail Browne 44-6.5-37.5.
Sunday's winner was Matt Whelan 75-4-71, r/u Chris Kelly 88-15-73. Putting Maria McDonell 27 and ball winner was Lachlan Whelan 85-10-75.
Next Sunday is Handicap Championship round which is a stroke event, tee off at 12.30pm.
The next Trade Day will be Sunday, June 16, a 2-person ambrose event. Tee will be at noon. Get your partner organised now for a great day out on the golf course.

The Ladies of Club Tocumwal kicked off the week on Tuesday, May 7 playing stroke on the Captain’s course competing for their Monthly Medal.

On Wednesday, May 8, the men stepped out onto the President’s course playing stableford.

On Saturday, May 11, the comp of the day was par on the President’s course.

Sunday was stableford and the Men’s Monthly Medal.

Finley
Thanks to Peter and his band of helpers, the first round of Women’s Championships got underway with the Kalangadoo Nursery Stroke Event and May Monthly Medal.
After a three-way countback, with a round of 71 net, Sharon Pyle won the net medal and, with her gross score of 85, the scratch medal. She also won the putting with 26.
Ball competition winners were Heather Daniel 71, Anne Harding 71, Joanne Dean 73, Janet Delmenico 74, and Annie Wood with 75 net.
After day one of the championships, the leaders in A-grade were Sharon Pyle 85, Bobette Wilkinson 89, and Kellie White on 90 gross.
In B-grade Heather Daniel is on 96 followed by Janet Delmenico and Sue Simpson each on 100.
In C-grade Anne Harding leads on 99, with Annie Wood and Karen Litchfield each on 104 following.
After a three-way countback, Alan Hand claimed the men’s stableford on Wednesday with 33 points.
NTP on the 18th was Brett Shaw. Ball competition winners were Brett Shaw and Colin McNamara, who each finished with 32 stableford points.
Phillip Taylor had 20 stableford points to win the 9 Hole Competition played on Thursday.
Winners in the ball competition were Grant Shaw 18, and Alan Hand who had 15 stableford points.
There was a good turn out in the wet conditions on Saturday for the WM and KM Kelly Day.
The men’s division played stroke and it was Rory Doyle on 67 net who stepped up as the day’s winner.
After countback, Mary Polkinghorne on 33 stableford points was the winner in the women’s division.
NTP on the 13th was Julie O’Brien and on the 18th it was Leo McNamara. Ball competition winners were Jack Doyle 72, Leo McNamara 72, Ian Litchfield 75, and John Taylor on 76 net as well as Janet Delmenico who had 33 stableford points
V Par was played on the Sun Valley Australia day on Sunday.
Leo McNamara finished two over and was the winner of the men’s division, with Karen Litchfield on two over taking the women’s division.
Kim McCaw claimed NTP on the 13th, and on the 18th it was Trevor McCaw.
Ball competition winners were Lindsay Donkin and Barry Wilson who finished on three over, and Tess Dean who finished at six over.
Southern Riverina Veterans
The Southern Riverina Veterans Golf Association May Competition Day was played at the Jerilderie Golf Club on Monday, with 80 golfers taking to the course.
Stableford was played and Bruce McCallum from Tocumwal had 37 points to win in A-grade, while John Wiseman from Cobram Barooga was runner-up with 36.
Greg Hanns from Tocumwal, with 36 and after countback, claimed B-grade, with Steve Senini from Berrigan runner-up with 36.
Ernie Jenkins from Cobram Barooga also carded 36 points to win C-grade from Peter Mansell, also from Cobram Barooga, on 35.
A-grade NTP went to Neville Hawke (Yarrawonga), B-grade was Tom Wilton (Tocumwal), C-grade went to begging and All grades was claimed by Brian Oldham (Cobram Barooga).
Ball competition winners were players with 27 stableford points or better.
