Am I the only one who hates the 'abt.' abbreviation...?

Every time a date is approximate, Wikitree inserts the abbreviation 'abt.' for 'about' in front of the date - as in 'abt.1905'.

'abt.' may be familiar to English speakers - even though it's a clumsy abbreviation.  For speakers of other languages, 'abt.' is a poor choice.

The latin-derived word 'circa' would, in my opinion, provide a much more universal, shorter and more readable alternative - as in 'ca.1905' - which would be readily understood not only by English speakers, but also by German, Spanish, Italian, French and speakers of many more languages which have assimilated this useful latin word.

Is it possible to change this?  What needs to happen to do so?  Can it be done as part of the Style refresh?

Or am I the only one who gets annoyed by this?
