K-LOVE Fan Awards: 22 Artists

While we can’t wait to see who walks away with the night’s biggest accolades at the 11th annual K-LOVE Fan Awards on May 26, 2024, the star-studded evening is preceded by an entire weekend of fan-fueled activities helmed by your favorite K-LOVE artists. (A limited number of packages remain at klovefanawards.com.) From Friday night’s Kick-Off Concert to Sunday morning’s worship service, and everything in between, fans have a chance to hear songs — and the stories behind them — at a number of experiences throughout the three-day event hosted at Nashville’s Gaylord Opryland Resort, May 24 - May 26, 2024. This year’s co-hosts, Brandon Lake and Sadie Robertson Huff, will be among the A-list talent in attendance for the highly anticipated show set to take place at the iconic Grand Ole Opry House on Sunday night, but fans will have ample opportunity to catch a glimpse of some of the genre’s biggest hitmakers ahead of the duo’s opening monologue. Here are 22 artists you’ll see at the 2024 K-LOVE Fan Awards Weekend before the award show even begins.

MercyMe

K-LOVE Fan Award-winning band MercyMe will headline this year’s Kick-Off Concert. This isn’t the first time the veteran act has “kicked off” the gathering that opens the “Ultimate Fan Experience” for K-LOVE listeners, but this year, the beloved outfit is sure to deliver an even more robust catalog of hits, as well as fresh selections from their latest album, “Always Only Jesus.” The five-piece swept the annual awards ceremony in 2018, taking home the golden ‘K’ for Artist of the Year, Group/Duo of the Year and Song of the Year for “Even If.” Additionally, their blockbuster smash, “I Can Only Imagine,” won Film/Television Impact honors. Fans once again named MercyMe Group/Duo of the Year in 2023.

Jon Reddick

I Believe It (The Life of Jesus)” singer Jon Reddick will once again emcee Saturday morning’s Worship in the Round. The new event debuted last year with Reddick at the helm. It’s a chance to experience many of your favorite Christian artists leading worship onstage together; and Reddick serves as the preeminent host. The singer/songwriter, who regularly leads worship at Church of the City in Franklin, Tennessee, is working on a new record; and if fans are lucky, they might just be treated to unreleased music from the revered artist.

Brandon Heath

Chart-topping singer/songwriter Brandon Heath will resume his hosting duties during Saturday afternoon’s Emerging Artist Showcase. The “See Me Through It” singer is sure to perform stripped-down selections from his impressive discography and might even debut a new song or two from his forthcoming studio set, due late Summer 2024. Meanwhile, Heath will also introduce a circle of rising stars to those in attendance as they participate in a songwriters round, a beloved Nashville tradition and something the Music City native regularly hosts at his home for the K-LOVE On Demand series, “Brandon’s Backyard.”

Steven Curtis Chapman

Christian music icon Steven Curtis Chapman returns as the host of Saturday night’s beloved Songwriters Showcase. A treasured event among attendees, Chapman’s introspective evening concludes day two of the weekend by highlighting some of Christian music’s biggest names during an acoustic round of stripped-down stories and songs. In addition to a few originals shared by the CCM legend, this year’s lineup also includes performances by Jeremy Camp, Josh Baldwin, Rachael Lampa and David Leonard.

CAIN

Last year, CAIN hosted the 10th installment of the K-LOVE Fan Awards. This year, the sibling trio will bring their familial harmonies and high-energy live show to Friday night’s Kick-Off Concert. The group won their first K-LOVE Fan Award in 2021 when fans voted their No. 1 debut radio smash, “Rise Up (Lazarus),” Breakout Single of the Year. In addition to sharing cuts from their critically acclaimed introductory album, CAIN will be performing songs from their sophomore project, “Jesus Music,” which features lead single “Any More.”

Matt Maher

In 2018, Matt Maher commanded the K-LOVE Fan Awards stage for a performance with Jason Crabb and other artist friends for a memorable rendition of his hit, “What A Friend.” As a part of Saturday morning’s Worship in the Round, the respected lyricist will lead weekend attendees in worship alongside his peers. The singer/songwriter is likely to deliver songs from his current studio record, “The Stories I Tell Myself,” including “The Lord’s Prayer (It’s Yours).” Later in the year, he’ll join CAIN and Ben Fuller on Zach Williams’ “Revival Nights” tour.

Josiah Queen

Josiah Queen is perhaps the freshest face — and the youngest — represented in the lineup for this year’s Emerging Artist Showcase. His folky, acoustic-driven style swiftly struck a chord with TikTok users driving the viral success of his debut Christian single, “The Prodigal.” By the time he reaches the stage in Nashville, he will have headlined a nearly sold-out tour in support of his introductory radio offering. Residing in Tampa, Florida, the burgeoning singer currently writes and records his original music independent of a label.

Jeremy Camp

Last year, Jeremy Camp brought his chart-topping single, “Getting Started,” to the K-LOVE Fan Awards mainstage with two very special guests — his daughters, Bella and Arie. This year, he’s flying solo at Saturday evening’s Songwriters Showcase. While he will undoubtedly highlight a few hits spanning his prolific 22-year career, the father of three will likely also perform songs from his brand new studio effort, “Deeper Waters,” set to release one week before the 2024 K-LOVE Fan Awards Weekend takes place.

Tauren Wells

Most fans know Tauren Wells as a dynamic entertainer and talented vocalist. Yet, many don’t realize the hitmaker is also a gifted speaker. In fact, earlier this year, he and his wife, Lorna, launched the Church of Whitestone in Austin, Texas, where Wells serves as the lead pastor. He’ll bring his pastoral heart to Sunday morning’s annual worship service, offering a message of hope alongside music led by Elevation Worship. The “Take It All Back” singer, who co-hosted the 9th annual K-LOVE Fan Awards with Matthew West, will appear on select U.S. dates of Chris Tomlin’s “Holy Forever World Tour” this fall.

Andrew Ripp

It was only a few years ago that Andrew Ripp was a fresh-faced breakthrough act performing his debut single, “Jericho,” at the K-LOVE Fan Awards. Now, Ripp is one of the genre’s most buzzed-about artists, and for good reason. In addition to “Jericho,” which also became his first No. 1 at Christian radio, the fan favorite will welcome weekend attendees to this year’s Kick-Off Concert with a setlist full of successive hits, including “For the Love of God” and “Fill My Cup.” If audience members are lucky, he might even premiere a new song or two.

Jenn Johnson

Jenn Johnson is best known for her original song, “Goodness of God,” which has recently been covered by a number of artists, including a prominent rendition by CeCe Winans. In addition to penning anthems that have traveled around the globe, Johnson often collaborates with her husband, Brian, when she writes and records. When she participates in Saturday morning’s Worship in the Round, fans will also recognize her unmistakable alto from collaborations with Josh Baldwin on “Made For More,” Brandon Lake on “Too Good To Not Believe” and Chris Tomlin on a live version of “Holy Forever,” on which she holds co-writing credit.

Caleb & John

Caleb & John burst onto the scene with lead single “Hallelujah Feeling,” delighting fans with their tight harmonies and well-honed musicianship forged from years on the road playing with other artists, respectively. Now, as their sophomore single, “Somebody Like Me (feat. CAIN),” climbs the charts, the duo will bring their unique mix of pop, rock, country and worship to the 2024 K-LOVE Fan Awards Weekend. As a part of Saturday afternoon’s Emerging Artist Showcase, the two friends will strip down their pair of radio offerings and give fans a taste of what’s to come from the promising new act.

Josh Baldwin

Josh Baldwin’s acoustic-led songs feel tailor-made for a quiet round of stools and guitars. He’ll fit right in as a part of Saturday night’s Songwriters Showcase, hosted by Steven Curtis Chapman. The “Stand in Your Love” singer will undoubtedly deliver handpicked selections from his latest project, “Made For More,” an eight-track autobiographical live project whose sparse production returns the consistent singer/songwriter to his worship leading roots as he offers up fresh originals for the Church to sing.

Elevation Worship

Elevation Worship just took their high-energy single, “Praise,” to the top of the charts. Now, they’ll take it straight to the fans during the 2024 K-LOVE Fan Awards Weekend as they lead Sunday Morning Worship, a beloved annual tradition that caps the pre-award show festivities. No doubt the GRAMMY®-winning worship collective will have a hard time narrowing down their setlist considering they steward so many well-known anthems, including “Same God,” “Do It Again,” “The Blessing” and “O Come to the Altar,” among many others. Perhaps guest speaker Tauren Wells will also make an appearance on the group’s “Echo”?

Consumed By Fire

It was just last year that Consumed by Fire was featured as a part of the Emerging Artist Showcase. For 2024, the trio ups the ante and shares the bill with MercyMe, CAIN and Andrew Ripp for the Kick-Off Concert, the premier event that welcomes fans to a non-stop weekend of music, faith and connection. Brothers Caleb, Jordan and Josh Ward will perform their emotive debut, “First Things First,” as well as current acoustic-driven single “Walk With Jesus” when they grace the stage Friday evening.

Mike Weaver

Big Daddy Weave frontman Mike Weaver will appear at Saturday morning’s Worship in the Round. He’s sure to delight fans with some of his band’s biggest hits, including their latest No. 1, “Heaven Changes Everything.” Weaver and his bandmates were awarded the first-ever K-LOVE Fan Award for Song of the Year in 2013 thanks to the resounding impact of their signature anthem, “Redeemed.” Big Daddy Weave went on to claim the prize for Worship Song of the Year in 2017 for “The Lion & The Lamb.” Although the full band won’t be in attendance at the weekend event, Weaver’s warm, rich vocal will more than make up for their absence.

Terrian

In 2023, Terrian launched the entire K-LOVE Fan Awards Weekend when she opened last year’s Kick-Off Concert. In 2024, the newcomer returns for the Emerging Artist Showcase, premiering songs from her critically acclaimed full-length debut, “Give It Time,” which bowed in January. As a background vocalist for TobyMac, the “Honestly, We Just Need Jesus” singer recently wrapped the multi-artist “Hits Deep Tour.” Fans can also catch her living on island time this summer when “K-LOVE Live in Honolulu” takes over the Tom Moffatt Waikiki Shell on Oahu for one night only June 22, 2024.

Rachael Lampa

After years away from the spotlight, Rachael Lampa “reemerged” during the Emerging Artist Showcase in 2023, the same year she won Breakout Single of the Year for her impressive No. 1 hit, “Perfectly Loved.” She’s sure to share her comeback single and its follow-up, “Somebody To You (feat. Andrew Ripp),” when she joins Jeremy Camp, Josh Baldwin and David Leonard for Saturday evening’s cherished Songwriters Showcase, hosted by Steven Curtis Chapman.

Shane & Shane

Shane & Shane will make their first-ever K-LOVE Fan Awards appearance on Saturday morning when the seasoned duo takes the stage at Worship in the Round. Shane Barnard and Shane Everett have seen their song, “You’ve Already Won,” become a staple at K-LOVE Radio. The Texas natives will put their passionate live energy behind the powerful selection as they showcase their top-notch harmonies, prolific lyricism and longstanding friendship for fans who spend Memorial Day Weekend in Nashville for Christian music’s biggest weekend.

Where: Worship in the Round

When: Saturday, May 25, 2024

Stephen McWhirter

Fans will flock to Saturday afternoon’s Emerging Artist Showcase just to see Stephen McWhirter perform his emotive debut single, “Come Jesus Come.” The unlikely hitmaker was a former member of worship collective Iron Bell Music, but prior to that, McWhirter was a meth addict and an atheist, whose life was radically transformed by Jesus. 2024 will mark the Kentucky native’s first time at the K-LOVE Fan Awards Weekend, where he’ll share his powerful songs and remarkable testimony.

David Leonard

Most fans know David Leonard for his past work as a former keys player for NEEDTOBREATHE, the lead singer of alternative-pop band Jackson Waters and one-half of celebrated worship duo All Sons & Daughters; but in recent years, Leonard has emerged as a gifted solo artist in his own right. The “Every Hour” singer will reveal just how capable he is standing on his own two feet when he takes his turn during the Songwriters Showcase on Saturday night alongside Jeremy Camp, Josh Baldwin, Rachael Lampa and host Steven Curtis Chapman.

Seph Schlueter

Seph Schlueter is still a relatively new name in Christian music. His debut single, “Counting My Blessings,” however, is one K-LOVE listeners just can’t seem to get enough of. His acoustic-driven melodies blend with his profound lyricism to form a fresh sound that’s uniquely his own. The buzzworthy newcomer will make his inaugural appearance at the K-LOVE Fan Awards Weekend in 2024 at this year’s Emerging Artist Showcase, hosted by Brandon Heath.
