Any way to download an old version of an app in play store using wayback machine?

I want to download an old version of a game which it isn't on any website on Google but I'm sure it is on wayback machine, but it won't let me download the game of the play store in wayback machine :( (I'm on android btw) Isn't there a way to do this?

Although I have never tried downloading an app this way it does seem unlikely you will be able to get an app from the Wayback Machine part of the Archive. But the Archive does have a separate APK archive you could try.

Without knowing some details of the app name or where it came from (the original source url), or who made it, I can't help. Details count when trying to find stuff :)

But what it is?

Also sorry for the very reply late, I didn't get the notification πŸ˜”

No problem. I did not understand your question though ("But what it is?"). Do you mean what an APK is, or what the APK archive is?

I mean what is the website you linked there

That is archive.org as well. They are best known for the Wayback Machine, but they have way more than 'just' a website archive. Documents, video archives, music collections, games...Β

And software too. Including an archive of apps, and that was what I linked to. I linked to its 'About' tab, but if you go to its 'Collections' tab, you can search to see if the app you were looking for is in there.
