Hi, looking to book Barbados in August and am unsure because of the weather.. have been in April before and it was perfect. If anyone has any experience of August weather in general would be greatly appreciated! TIA🙏😊
Just as an aside, I know weather is generally impossible to predict. It’s more to know whether it’s worth the trip or better sticking with Europe☀️
Hi we’ve stayed in August at least 3 times. Mostly it was fun but one year we experienced the tropical storm Dorian and it definitely wasn’t fun. It’s humid and hot in general. Also a lot of places are very busy being popular for families with kids. Are you looking for some peace and quiet? Or not bothered?
Hi. thank you 😊Oh no, a storm doesn’t sound fun! we are going with 2 children but also enjoy the more peaceful side of things. Not a fan of craziness but I guess can’t be completely avoided in Summer hols. Am looking at Mango Bay in Holetown which I’ve stayed before.
Good choice. We spent 4 nights at this hotel in February this year before we moved to a villa in Speightstown. The food was really good and the staff super friendly.

I live next door to Mango Bay and our beach and sea are beautiful in August with the sea usually resembling a Mill Pond . Go for it .
