Kylie Jenner brought vintage glamour to the 2024 Met Gala red carpet, wearing Oscar de la Renta. The star joined her sisters Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner and her mom, Kris Jenner, at the event, which was held at The Metropolitan Museum in New York City.
Jenner’s dress featured a pointy bra cup strapless silhouette with a dramatic maxiskirt attached to a corset bodice. The skirt featured a voluminous train that fell down to the floor.
Stylist duo Alexandra and Mackenzie Grandquist, who have been working with Jenner for years, styled her look for the night. Jenner accessorized with a flower detail on her hair, nodding to this year’s Met Gala theme, “The Garden of Time.” Her look was completed with slingback pumps matching the color of her dress.
Jenner made her Met Gala debut in 2016 wearing Balmain. Since then, she has worn Versace, Off-White and Alexander Wang to the event. In 2023, she made headlines in a red Haider Ackermann dress.
Besides starring the “The Kardashians” reality show on Hulu, Kylie Jenner also owns her own fashion brand, Khy, which debuted last year in November. The businesswoman is also the founder of Kylie Baby, Kylie Skin and Kylie Cosmetics.
The Met Gala raises funds for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and celebrates the Costume Institute’s annual exhibits. This year’s theme, “The Garden of Time,” nods to the “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” exhibit, which will open to the public on Friday. The 2024 event is cochaired by Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth and Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour.
