Jon Stewart is doubling his workload. After returning to The Daily Show to host new episodes on Monday, Stewart has announced the launch of a new companion podcast series called The Weekly Show with Jon Stewart.

Launching in June, the podcast will see Stewart dive “into the most critical topics across current events” with a “variety of guests, including newsmakers, authors and celebrities.”

“After much reflection, meditation, and prayer, I have decided to extend my work week to two days,” quipped Stewart. “All hail Comedy Central!”

Stewart returned to The Daily Show anchor chair in February after nine years away. As of now, he’s on board to host the show through the 2024 presidential election in November.

Stewart is actually hosting The Daily Show on Thursday this week, as he spent the early part of the week in Los Angeles for Netflix is a Joke Fest. During his visit, he appeared as a guest on John Mulaney’s live talk show Everybody’s in L.A., and made a surprise appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where he hitched a ride with Kimmel’s wife and kids (watch below). Both segments were very funny.
