The character that you have played in Vash is quite intense. How difficult was it to prepare for this role?
Playing my character in Vash was indeed a challenging yet rewarding journey. Preparing for such an intense role required a deep dive into the emotional and psychological aspects of the character, which demanded extensive research and method acting techniques. I spent considerable time understanding her motivations and vulnerabilities, which helped me bring authenticity to the performance. Additionally, I worked closely with the director Krishnadev Yagnik to ensure that every nuance was captured accurately, making the preparation as rigorous as it was enlightening. This role pushed my limits as an actress and I’m grateful for the growth it spurred in me. The character of Aarya has left a mark on me personally.
Vash had received a lot of appreciation from the audience during its theatrical run. What kind of reactions are you anticipating with it’s Digital premiere on the OTT platform, ShemarooMe?
The response to Vash during its theatrical release was truly heartening, and I’m excited to see how it resonates with audiences on ShemarooMe. Transitioning to the digital platform opens up new avenues for viewership, allowing a wider audience to experience the film’s suspense and thrill. Also, the film has a huge potential in terms of repeat value as some scenes are pretty complex and need focused viewing from the audiences.
What were some memorable moments from the filming of Vash that you think fans would love to hear about, especially now that it’s reaching a broader audience through ShemarooMe?
Filming Vash was an incredible journey filled with memorable moments. Despite the eerie atmosphere, we managed to keep spirits high with some behind-the-scenes laughter and camaraderie. Together we have created memories that I will cherish for life. Another highlight was exploring the beautiful locations where we shot, adding depth to the film’s visuals. Now, as Vash reaches a broader audience on ShemarooMe, I’m excited for fans to experience these moments and feel immersed in the world we created on screen.
