Manoj Manchu is making a grand comeback after an eight-year hiatus. He's set to redefine the superhero genre with his role as The Black Sword in the highly-anticipated film, Mirai. Directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory, Mirai promises to be an action-packed adventure unlike anything seen before. The film also stars Teja Sajja as The Super Yodha.
The first look of Manchu Manoj as The Black Sword was unveiled amidst the excitement of his birthday. The glimpse offers a glimpse of a Manchu we've never seen before – intense, powerful, and wielding a strange weapon against a dramatic backdrop of a ravaged landscape. His commanding presence, a mix of swagger and intensity, highlights the strength and significance of The Black Sword within the film's narrative.
Sporting a long ponytail and a stylish beard, Manoj transforms throughout the glimpse. He starts with a deadly yet fashionable long coat, transitioning to an action-packed sequence in a blazer and t-shirt. This brief look showcases Manchu's versatility and dedication as an actor, promising a character whose journey will resonate deeply with audiences.

Set against the visually stunning and narratively rich world of Mirai, the film promises an exciting blend of traditional heroics and modern storytelling. This epic tale explores the secrets of Ashoka's legendary nine unknown books, weaving history and mythology into a captivating cinematic experience.
The screenplay is penned by Karthik Ghattamaneni alongside Manibabu Karanam, who also wrote the film's dialogues. Gowra Hari composes the music, while Sri Nagendra Tangala serves as the film's art director. Vivek Kuchibhotla joins the project as co-producer, with Krithi Prasad taking on the role of Creative Producer and Sujith Kumar Kolli serving as Executive Producer.
Mirai is scheduled for a grand release in multiple languages – Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam – on April 18th of next year. The film will be available in both 2D and 3D formats, ensuring a visually spectacular experience for audiences worldwide.
