Wednesday night the middle school boys track team defended their conference title at home. Impressive finishes include Collin Gross in the mile, Sam Trommater in the 2 mile, Braxton in the 70 and Jarett won shot and took second in the 200. This was certainly a team win, with countless seventh graders scoring team points that aided in the win.
The middle school girls track team took 4th out of 9 Wednesday night in the conference championship meet. Medalists include: Allie in the 70m dash, Olivia in the 200m dash, Beth in the 800m and high jump, Chloe in pole vault, Addison in the 55m hurdles and the 200m hurdles; Khloe in shot put, Dylan in the 400m, 200m, and long jump; and the 4x200m relay team of Avery, Addison, Caleigh, and Olivia. Additional congratulations to Dylan who qualified for the MEGASTAR meet in long jump with a jump of 14’2.5! The girls will compete at home again on Wednesday the 29th.
NHS is hosting a blood drive next Wednesday the 22nd from noon - 5:45 at the KC Hall. Students who meet the requirements and have parental consent can donate. See Mrs. Butkovich for a consent form if you are interested in saving a life!
