What’s a near perfect figure you have that you wish was just a little bit better? Also how would you change it? Scott here is just lacking in the accessories department imo, and the cell shading isn’t great.

As great as the VHS and 97 Cyclops are, they both still miss the mark. And I'm sick of Hasbro deliberately underperforming so that we are forced to buy multiple to kitbash. So I'm holding out on Cyclops still.

97 Magneto is undersized.

Nightcrawler is lacking swords.

For many newer figures, for a base of $25 and no BAF parts, there really needs to be more accessories, alternate hands and heads, etc.

Chasm is probably the stand out to me. He needed the "Retro Spidey" treatment: Retro Spidey/RYV mold, ideally at least two sets of hands, and the energy effects he included. A sunfire mold with just fists is extremely lacking for $25.

He's not perfect, he's definitely serviceable, but he could've used some improvements. Honestly that whole wave could use more accessories.

I de-cell shaded mine a month before they announced the 2nd 97 wave, still like it better though because of the head sculpts. You nailed it with the accessories though! Also for your question, retro carded punisher should have came with a coat and more accessories!

VHS is IMO the perfect representation from the original 97 he literally looks like he jumped outta the screen even with the cel shading I think he’s chef kiss

i forgot how bad that visor looked. I pretty much had to super heat and remold mine to look good.

Molecule Man is a fig I’d wanted for so long . He came out nice, but him having only one boring headsculpt was lame .

I'm hoping ML eventually phase-out the ab and waist crunch altogether and opt for ball-jointed waists and diaphragms like we're seeing with GI Joe Classified. Jada Toys does that with their Street Fighter figures and those basically look and function like domestic imports, without the fragility that imports sometimes have.

Tasm2 Andrew Spider-man. Where are the hands?
