The 'Barbie World' raptress, who has wrapped up the U.S. leg of her world tour, is revealed as the only female rapper in history to sell out 36 shows consecutively.

AceShowbiz - Nicki Minaj has a good reason to celebrate. The "Barbie World" raptress voiced her appreciation to her fans, famously known as Barbz, as she made history with her ongoing "Pink Friday 2 World Tour".

On Tuesday, May 14, the 41-year-old hip-hop artist made use of Instagram to thank her devotees and crews for making the world tour happen. In the lengthy caption of her new post, she penned, "I still have to post the last 4 shows that I didn't get a chance to post yet, but I'd like to thank EVERYONE who's become a #GagCityResident."

Nicki went on to say, "I'd like to thank the incredible ppl who whether on stage or behind the stage, every single night, have been the most incredible, talented & reliable ppl on earth in order to make this show happen for the Barbz in the most over the top, stunning & unique way."

The Trinidadian rapper further teased, "We're just getting started tho. So many ppl have asked if I'd consider adding more U.S. DATES." Near the end of the caption, she reminded her fans that the European leg of the tour will kick off soon, writing, "Anyway, headed to Europe in a few days. Love you," adding a face blowing a kiss emoji.

In the same post, Nicki uploaded a video of radio personality Angela Yee discussing her recent achievement on syndicated radio show "Way Up". In the short clip, the host could be seen reading a message that read, "Nicki Minaj sold out the entire U.S. leg of her 'Pink Friday 2 Gag City World Tour'."

Angela additionally revealed, "36 shows consecutively sold out. She is the only female rapper in history to do it and it's the highest grossing tour by a female rapper in history. And she has more shows coming up overseas."

Nicki kicked off the world tour on March 1 in Oakland. During the U.S. leg of the tour, she brought along several surprise guests, including 50 Cent and Drake, onstage. She will stop by many cities in Europe before concluding the tour on July 14 in Belgium.
