Martin Murphy has been appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer of maincubes, a prominent data center developer and operator in Europe. He joins the management team of maincubes to oversee customer success, coordinate the seamless integration of new sites and capacity into live sites, and handle internal operations. Murphy’s appointment enhances maincubes’ operational performance and supports the company’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) efforts as it pursues international expansion.

Martin has almost 20 years of experience in the data center business, having held a number of senior positions. The most recent position he held was President EMEA at Salute Mission Critical, a leading data center companies’ global provider of full lifecycle data center services. He joined the company after AMS Helix, a data center-focused project management and consulting firm Martin co-founded in 2021 and oversaw as CEO, was acquired. He was previously CBRE Data Center Solutions’ Chief Operating Officer, overseeing services for more than 800 data centers worldwide.
