In this unedited interview, Merle Oberon talks about her Hollywood debut when she was cast in the film The Dark Angel by producer Samuel Goldwyn. She went on to star in other classic Goldwyn films including Wuthering Heights and These Three, which she discusses along with her recollection of some of those classic Goldwynisms.

Merle Oberon was born Estelle Merle Thompson in Mumbai (Bombay), India. Her father was British and her mother was Sinhalese. However, she concealed her mixed-race background, claiming to have been born in Tasmania of Irish, Dutch and French lineage.
