General Hospital Scintillating Cast Changes In 2024—Shock Exits, Surprise Recasts, Fan Fave Returns!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that things are constantly changing on soap operas and this include the cast. We’re not even halfway through 2024 and already there have been some stunning changes to the cast of the ABC daytime drama. Here’s what you need to know to be in the know!

General Hospital Spoilers – Returns And Exits

Lydia Look returned in February as Selina Wu and William Lipton returned as Cameron Webber.

Fans previously saw Lipton in March 2023 when the character left to attend school at Stanford. Lipton can be seem on the Amazon series The Runarounds.

Michael E. Knight is on a temporary hiatus as southern lawyer Martin Gray. A return date has not been announced.

GH Spoilers – Daytime Additions

Eva LaRue joined the cast as Natalia Rogers-Ramirez the mother of singer Blaze. LaRue debuted on February 26 and she has caught the eye of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Also joining the cast was Jeff Leaf as O’Neill; he also was seen in February.

Meanwhile, Tonja Walker’s character Olivia Jerome was killed off in Pentonville. Tonja played Olivia from 1988 through 2017.

Steve Burton came back to the show on Monday, March 4 as Jason Morgan. He departed on 2021 rather than receive an ABC-mandated Covid shot.

Also joining the cast is Adam J. Harrington as John “Jagger” Cates. Antonio Sabato originated the role in 1992 and stayed until 1995.

Giovanni Mazza debuts during the week of May 13. He plays the violin at BLQ’s (Amanda Setton) wedding. In real life Mazza is an accomplished violinist who has been featured at sporting events.

General Hospital Spoilers – Major Exits, Significant Comebacks, Interesting Newbies

Avery Pohl was last seen as Esme Prince on January 31, 2024 and that was the last time that fans saw Nicholas Alexander Chavez as Spencer Cassadine.

He left to star in a series, Monster, about the Menendez brothers who killed their parents. On April 25 it was announced that the actor will not return to GH.

Cassandra James has been seen as Terry Randolph and Kody Kavitha has joined the cast as Bobbie’s new manager Hunter. Her credits include SWAT and Awkward.

Virginia Ma now appears as Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) new assistant Madison. Her credits include The Thundermans and Magnum PI.

Tristan Riggs now stars as Aiden Webber (he debuted May 2) a role previously played by Enzo De Angelis.

GH Spoilers – Casting Changes in 2024

During the week of April 29 fans saw Adam Huss as Nikolas Cassadine. In early May Juliet Donenfeld – temporarily replaced Lily Fisher as Georgie Jones. Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall) also had a temp replacement in January when she wasn’t feeling well.

During the week of May 13 Ellen Travolta returns as Gloria Cerullo. She attends her granddaughter BLQ’s wedding.

And last but not least, Morgan Fairchild was recently seen as Haven de Haviland, the snarky home shopping channel host.
