Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant has undergone successful surgery to remove a 10 cm tumor from her uterus.

Rakhi's ex-husband, Ritesh Singh, took to his Instagram handle and shared a tearful update which featured a video of Rakhi going into the operation room.

The clip shows Rakhi in a wheelchair, wearing a hospital gown and a scrub cap as she is all set to enter the operation theatre.

She appears anxious but still managed to give her supporters a smile and some flying kisses to her fans before going into the OT.

Ritesh captioned the video, "My heart is pounding, I'm afraid. But I have full faith in the Almighty that He will never do anything wrong to me. Rakhi is going into the operating theatre and she's missing her late mother. She's also requesting everyone to vote."

Rakhi was admitted to hospital on May 18 and her followers offered well wishes and prayers for her speedy recovery.

After the update, the fans got some relief.

Ritesh, later provided a photo of the tumor that had been removed, proving that the May 18 surgery had been successful.

Fans praised Ritesh for supporting Rakhi in difficult times and standing by her side.
