It used to be understandable. For quite a while Ant kept his security guard job and didn't tour didn't do videos... He was just an invisible enigma. All you saw on tour or online was Slug. For the last several tours Ant has been trying to rectify that. He's in the tours now. He's in the photos. He's in the videos. He's doing interviews. For people to refer to atmosphere as "him" in 2024 is just really really stupid.
Yeah it’s been cool to see home come out of his shell lately.
Lately? He's been DJing their shows for at least 20ish years at this point. At least since they were touring "You Can't Imagine How Much Fun We're Having". I even met him after a show a year or two after that.
I mean yeah but it’s only been since probably Fishing Blues when he started doing more interviews and press stuff which I think is cool. I’ve met him too, he’s super chill.
I was so surprised that last year during the Amsterdam concert he also came outside before the show. Usually that's just Slug but I was baffled. Got ant to sign my copy of God loves ugly vinyl too, and slug drew all over that shit haha. Priced possession right there.

I don’t get it. Sean sings about Ant all the time. No one catches on?! Plus, on iPhone when you play music on the Apple Music app, it shows who created the song. You are not alone, OP. It drives me fucking insane, too. Don’t get me wrong, though, I absolutely adore Sean. But we wouldn’t have Atmosphere without Ant. Period!
Yeah, the “atmosphere” is my favourite rapper gets me too.
But no one mentions plain ol bill who’s been on every tour with them djing for the minimum last 10 years (that I can personally confirm)
