Planning a trip, 3rd week of September. 10 of us all, on Adv bikes with varying degrees of experience (some never been off tarmac). Only have 7 days in Morocco to do what is likely a 10-12 day trip. Looking some advice on road conditions / realistic travel time between stops.
Day 1
Arrive either Tang Med or Ceuta and straight to Fez, via Chefchaouen on N2, R419, R408, P5309, P5002, N8 and N6
Day 2
To Agoudal: N8, P7209 to Ain Leuh, P7311, P7306, N8, P7308, R503, P3214, R317
Day 3
To Merzouga: R704, N10, R702
Day 4:
To Quarzazate: either N13, N12, R108, N9 Or N13, N12, R113, N10,
Day 5:
To Marrakesh: N9
Day 6:
Azrou: Not planned out fully - seeking advice - First stop Ouzard Falls then perhaps direct route?
Day 7: Tangier Med - not planned
I appreciate some long days, many miles etc but is it doable? Are there better routes? Not a lot of time for immersing in the full cultural experience (holiday leave restrictions / family commitments etc in group prevent longer trips and travelling from Belfast) We go away every year to ride bikes then , if we enjoy somewhere, return with family for more relaxed time.
Any thoughts from those who know considerably better than me?
Thanks
John
