Can I not just switch devices and continue?
Thank you for any help. I really hope there is an easy solution for this.
I mean I don’t wanna start over and over again on 2 different devices.

Worlds are saved on the device, if you want to continue playing on a different device you need to move the save. Or move the world to a server/realm so you can access it from any device as long as you have an internet connection.
It’s 2024 and this game is not saved in a cloud? Wow
If it was saved to the cloud you wouldn’t be able to play if you lost your internet connection, also you’d have to pay someone to do it.
Aha that’s why steam and others offer cloud for free. Thanks anyway. Knew people will defend a billion dollar company and it’s bad ideas
Even google, one of the most profitable companies in the world, charges for cloud storage past a certain point.
But also in 2024 storage space costs money.
...and btw storage space is one of the more expensive parts of a server.
It is saved in the cloud if it's on a server or realm. Minecraft save files can be much larger than save files of most other games, due to you being able to change literally the whole world, so offering free cloud saves for single player worlds is not really feasable.
And how should I move the Xbox save data when reddit says the save files are not transferable?
You can upload it to a Realm and download it from there on the PC. I believe Realms offer a free trial version that you can use for that.
