Baseball = Franklin, 8 @ North Attleboro, 0 – Final
– Franklin jumped out to a three-run lead in the first inning and that was enough offense for senior pitcher Matt Miller as the Panthers rolled to an 8-0 win. Sean Kryzak (HBP) and Henry Digiorgio (walk) both reached and then came scattering home on an inside-the-park home run from senior Ben Yuknis to give the Panthers a 3-0 lead after just a half an inning. Franklin went on to add a run in the third, two more in the fifth, and one in each of the sixth and seventh innings. Miller did the rest from there, tossing a two-hitter in six shutout innings of work, issuing just one walk with five strikeouts; senior Mason Smith struck out one in a scoreless inning of relief. Yuknis, Rex Cinelli (two RBI), Lukas Phillip (RBI, run), Zach Winer, and Jake Shaughnessy (RBI, run) each had two hits for Franklin. Lucas Crovo (double), Zach Corsetti, and Bryce Silva each had a hit for the Rocketeers.

Softball = North Attleboro, 7 @ Franklin, 11 – Final
– Franklin overcame an early five-run deficit and plated seven unanswered runs between the fifth and sixth innings to pull away for a win over the visiting Rocketeers. North Attleboro jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the top of the first with back-to-back-to-back doubles from Maryellen Charette, Emily Tucker, and Lucy Palmer (3-for-4) and extended the lead to 5-0 on a sac fly from Molly Willey in the top of the second. Franklin got three back in the bottom of the second on an RBI double from Sophia Sacramone (3-for-4, two RBI, two runs) and a two-run single from Bridget Kennedy. A double from Grace Forman (two hits, three runs, RBI) and another sac fly from Willey restored North’s four-run lead at 7-3 but from there on out, it was all Panthers. Sacramone had an RBI triple in the bottom of the fourth, Sarah Boozang added an RBI double in the bottom of the fifth, and Marley Allen smacked a two-run home run two batters later to tie the game at 7-7. Sophomore Brooke Bonetti put Franklin in front for the first time all game with a two-run single to right. Katie Dowley (two hits, two runs) tripled and scored after a double steal and Allen added another RBI with a single to left to make it 11-7. Sacramone entered the game in the fourth inning and tossed four scoreless innings in relief, limiting North to two hits and no walks with four strikeouts. Jill Lewicki added two hits for the Rocketeers and Mary Rogers had a triple and a run scored.

Boys Tennis = North Attleboro, 1 @ Franklin, 4 – Final
– The Panthers took a pair of wins from both singles and doubles to defend home court against visiting North Attleboro. Franklin senior Jay Gorgas earned a 6-2, 6-1 first singles win and junior Dan Reis dropped just two games in a 6-1, 6-1 third singles victory. The Panthers swept doubles with juniors Aaron Ramaswamy and Gabe Terry landing a 6-4, 6-1 win at first doubles, and the second-doubles duo of Andrew Amante and Adarsh Pressanna added a 6-1, 6-4 win. North Attleboro senior Quinn DiFiore prevailed from a tight battle at second singles with a 6-4, 7-6 (3) win.

Girls Tennis = Franklin, 3 @ North Attleboro, 2 – Final
 – The top two teams in the Kelley-Rex might have had the match of the year in the Hockomock as Franklin prevailed 3-2 over North Attleboro with five terrific matchups. Franklin juniors Brooke Daniels and Sydney Tolonen emerged from a great back-and-forth battle with a close 7-5, 7-6 (10) win at first doubles while the team of senior Ava Davies and sophomore Avalon Thomes overcame a one-set deficit to earn a 2-6, 6-3, 6-0 win at second doubles.
