That magical time of year is here again! Break out your silver wardrobe and get in touch with the creative side of your brain - as well as the ichthyic side.

Duluth's annual Magic Smelt Parade takes place on May 26th starting at 3:30pm. Leading up to the parade, the Magic Smelt Puppet Troupe is hosting free workshops to help participants get their costumes and props constructed and ready for display. "This is very much a community driven, creative endeavor," says Annie Dugan. "We are all little, lovely Smelties."

Workshops will be held at the Lafayette Community Center on Park Point on Saturdays from 3-6pm and on Wednesdays and Fridays from 6-8pm. Supplies are available, but also welcome. Silver materials in particular are encouraged. For more information, visit the Magic Smelt Puppet Troupe website.

You can hear Where's Art every Monday morning at 8:20 on Northland Morning.
