WWE previously announced that SmackDown would shift from FOX to the USA Network later this year.

Initially, the plan was to debut WWE SmackDown on the network in October.

However, Deadline is reporting that WWE will begin airing its Friday night show on the USA Network starting on September 13, even though the contract with FOX expires at the end of September.

This move will make the USA Network the exclusive home for WWE content for at least a month, as it will air RAW, SmackDown, and NXT until NXT moves to the CW Network in October.

Additionally, RAW will move to Netflix in January 2025.

As part of WWE’s deal with NBCUniversal, the company will produce four specials on NBC each year.
