Whitney’s dress must have been taken in rather quickly. Lauren looking fabulous & understated in comparison with the fluffy bunny bridesmaids . And why is a waiter officiating at the wedding?

The celebrant has been in it before. Think it may have been Ben and Callums wedding. The actor was in channel 4s the bridge.

Ye for some reason I remember him in a blue suit. I would love it if they get the same actor for them to make a joke about the number of times these characters get married. Even if it's just have I not married you off before
BTW what even is the storyline with that Britney I thought they were fostering her but then Whitney said we have 3 daughters

The "got my happy ending/shes happy/shes got everything" was laid on a bit thick- but guess it will juxtapose all the drama
    Bianca's one liners are glorious.
Tiffany dropping Morgan out a window made me crease, as did Linda.
Looking fwd to seeing the fallout, im genuinely at a loss how it will play out (even with Whitney departing)

Some good humour in today's episode. Especially Bianca's one liners.

    Britney! What a little S..tney!

How can this be Britney's fault?

Zac is a manchild who strops and sulks way more than Britney, then shags his fiancee's best friend because things aren't going his way. As for Lauren, there are no words for her lack of morals. Considering her dad's behaviour, it's obvious the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

I give it 20 minutes before they are copping off again once Whitney leaves (probably even before she leaves).

I agree, I'm not a Britney fan but it was so wrong of Zack to put her in that situation where she feels pressured to keep their gross secret so Whitney can be happy. Like how is that fair to do that to a child. I'm glad she said something. It's still annoying as well how they've glossed over how wrong it was what Whitney did to Zack, but maybe that will come up in the next few days, during the post fall out arguments. He still does not want Britney.
Like a previous poster said I genuinely can't predict how this is going to go either because there's no way Zack is going with Whitney surely; it'd be incredibly cruel to Zack's actor and also if they were doing that then surely it'd be better to make both characters exits happy and clean without tainting it with this cheating and bullying/forcing someone into fostering a child they don't want crap. But then the alternative is co-parenting with Zack constantly travelling to Milton Keynes because surely he'll want to be around the newborn as much as possible. Unless they'll just have all his travelling and co-parenting in the background offscreen and not feature him heavily in storylines for a while till the new baby is old enough to merit him not being around much. Doesn't look like Whitney would be happy to dump baby Dolly on Zack anymore and just leave with Britney and Bianca, which is what looked like was going to happen

So Whitney will leave with Bianca, Britney, and Dolly and Zack will stay on the square as a part time dad. This whole exit storyline has really been botched from day 1

I feel sure that Whitney and Zac are registered foster parents so she could not take Britney to live elsewhere by herself, surely?

I know Whitney has been an iconic character of sorts but I really think killing her off during child birth would have been a great story to tell

That would have been a horrific ending for a character who's entire life has been tragedy after tragedy.

Not really a final ending, one can always come back from the dead in EE. I heard a rumour that one or both of the Mitchell sisters might be resurrected for the 40th anniversary. I really hope not, once in a soap ok but how many times have EE done this now Den, Kathy and Cindy spring to mind. It gets ridiculously repetitive right?

    what rumour?

There are several rumour mill articles out there and as always, take them with a pinch of salt. I think the one I saw involved Billy Mitchell, I just tutted and moved on. Anyhow, I suspect the recent ones stem from interviews given by Rita Simmons herself about how she orchestrated the final scenes so that there was "soap" potential for a return. Here is one retelling of Rita's line on it all. (I can't post links yet so you'll have to add the www etc.)

    thanks for that

    Why has it been botched.

That is exactly the way it was written.

And how it could happen in real life.

Funny, I can see it much more from Zack's point of view. Yes, he did struggle with Whitney suddenly deciding that she was going to adopt Britney, deceiving him into thinking that it was just a temporary arrangement and then when he found out the truth (she didn't tell him!) leaving him with "don't make me choose between her and you". That doesn't excuse his sleeping with Lauren on the back of that bombshell, but it was a one-off and he clearly regretted it immediately. Should he have 'fessed up to Whitney? Probably, but it didn't help when Bianca started throwing her weight around. And I genuinely think he HAD come round to wanting Britney to be part of the package and was making a real effort with her.

So I know Britney overhearing at the hospital suits the storyline, but she is old enough not to have dealt with it like that at the wedding given the efforts Zack had been making with her and the situation she knew Whitney had put him in.

Whitney makes up the rules of foster caring as she goes along it seems.

She paid Britney's mum thousands of pounds to have Britney with her. That was another part of the story that was never fully explained.

Not sure about Whitney’s hair and dress

She must have really upset someone because, despite being gorgeous, they managed to make her look the worst she's ever looked.

I think on Thursday they will all leave for Milton Keynes for a new life.
Whitney will get her happy ending.
Zack will sporadically travel back and forth for Sharon, Kathy, the business and his new baby with Lauren.

some interesting outfits in todays episodes, ill leave it at that.

Britney has finally got into the grove of a soap opera, picking only the best and most dramatic timing to speak up. Still cant say I blame her for speaking up.

This Whitney/ Zack / Lauren storyline has been awful. Considering they had so much notice that Shona was leaving, they could have come up with something a lot better.

The trailer is making me wonder if something really unexpected is going to happen... but maybe that's what it's meant to do.

If whitney just leaves and goes to milton keynes with bianca, the baby and that other stroppy little brat that will make the departure for a long serving actress so predictable. Mind milton keynes is what 60 mile away so zak can see the little one most weeks but eastenders will probably talk like its in outer mongolia

The whole thing just feels so forced to facilitate the actress' departure.

Let's put aside the fact that I don't think a character has ever had as much misery inflicted on them as Whitney (apart from Ronnie) that it has almost become a joke.

The real problem element is Whitney deciding out of nowhere to foster a problem teen she has just met then telling her fiance that she would choose the random girl over him every time. Seriously? Then throw in a cliche cheating storyline to really accelerate things.

A horrible departure storyline for a character that deserved much better.

Spot on, hardly as if shes lived with Britney for years or even months, what a little brat she is. Has she even legally fostered her? The whole departure feels cliched and drawn out and im sure many will breathe a sigh of relief when shes finally gone

I struggle to understand a word Denzel and Nugget are saying when they're talking to each other - and the damned subtitles weren't working this morning either.
