It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Andrew Mitchell Sr. of Waldo, Arkansas, born in Dennison, Ohio, who passed away on May 17, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Andrew Mitchell and Pauline Conners (Johnson); and his sister Charlotte Hall. He is survived by : his wife Juanita Mitchell of Waldo; his children, David Andrew Mitchell, Jr. (Ginger) of Plain Dealing, Louisiana and Sandra Shanks of Magnolia; his grandchildren, Zach, Katie Phillips, Damian, Timberly Richards, Jacob, Kimber Richards, Zachary, Sean, Dean Mitchell and Avery Mitchell; his great grandchildren, Karsyn Richards, Jeremiah Richards, Elodie Richards, Olivia Richards and Addilyn Richards; and his sisters, Jean Crabtree, Gladys Lemin and Lorraine Young.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. (420 N Jackson, Magnolia, AR 71753). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Cemetery (1650 Columbia Rd 41, Waldo, AR 71770).
