The White Oak is a contemporary Michelin rated pub and restaurant in the heart of Cookham in Berkshire.

Taking hospitality back to it's roots with a warm welcome from our genuinely friendly team, gastronomic experiences showcasing outstanding suppliers and produce but most of all – to enjoy our great quality menu, simply prepared.

The White Oak prides itself on offering a diverse selection of wines, beers, cask ales and ciders. Our carefully selected wine list offers an accessible range of bottles to suit all tastes and dishes and don't worry if you are driving, we have an extensive lo and no alcohol list too.

There is a large garden and terrace which is covered and has heaters, with dining pods for the perfect unique dining experience. There is ample parking and dogs are very welcome in the bar.

Very quiet in the pub but maybe due to the time we were there? My husband had the most amazing roast pork dinner, which had all the sides and did not have to ask for extra gravy as they supplied that already. I had a great vegan meal which was delicious and we both had puddings. The dog was welcomed and give treats and water. Will be back

New management are doing a sterling job !! Great food as before, excellent service and convivial atmosphere. Loved it !

Brilliant experience at the White Oak. Not locals so didn't know what to expect, and had a lovely meal which hit all the right notes. Great menu, very hard to choose. Food was excellent, high quality and exactly what we were hoping for. Service was friendly, positive and attentive. Had a great meal and we'll definitely return next time we're in the neighbourhood.
