Tucked away in a rural haven next to the owner’s home, this stunning barn conversion provides the ideal base for couples and small families. Don a pair of walking boots and set off on one of the many scenic trails straight from the doorstep through beautiful open countryside or enjoy a walk through the fields to the local village inn. The bustling town of Tenterden, known as Jewel of the Weald, is just 10 miles away and offers a wealth of history and architecture, as well as exceptional shopping and fine dining opportunities. For days out that all of the family can enjoy, visit Sissinghurst Castle Garden, Royal Tunbridge Wells, or the beautiful Camber Sands, all within 20 miles.

This beautiful holiday home is spacious and contemporary yet retains some delightful original features to hint at its rustic former life. The heart of the house is the generous open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with large bi-folding doors lining one side of the room, flooding it with light. At the front is the cosy lounge area where you can sink into the sofas and relax in front of the wood burner after a long day of exploring. Stepping to the rear of the room, you will find a stylish kitchen area equipped with an electric hob and double oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. After cooking up a storm, sit down around the generous dining table with loved ones and enjoy a glass of wine with your meal. Heading out of the living space, a corridor leads to a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer and the family shower room with WC. When it is time to retire for the evening, make use of the two sumptuous bedrooms: one super-king-size zip and link bed that can be made up as a twin on request with an en-suite bathroom with a free-standing bath, shower cubicle, and WC, and one king-size, both certain to ensure an excellent night's sleep.

There's plenty to enjoy outside as well. Step through the bi-folding doors from the lounge to discover a large patio area with furniture. If one seating space isn't enough, patio doors from the opposite side of the living space lead to a private decked area with furniture and a charcoal BBQ. Beyond is a large paddock with far-reaching countryside views that is shared with the owner. There is off-road parking for two cars.
