The 2024 PGA Championship is underway at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky, starting Thursday and running through Sunday.

A total of 156 golfers began the tournament in Round 1 with the hopes of winning the major championship, which comes with a winners's share of what figures to be a record-breaking purse, 700 FedEx Cup points and the Wanamaker Trophy. However, the cut will take place following the conclusion of Round 2 on Friday, reducing the field by roughly half.

The cut line, as always, is dependent on the field's performance, and the exact score needed to make the cut likely won't be known until late in the action on Friday. The top 70 players after the second round ― including ties ― advance to golf on Saturday and Sunday for the third and fourth rounds, respectively.
