Barbie Forteza says she's always been open to her family about her relationships: 'Andoon sila to guide me'

Barbie Forteza's relationship with her family is one full of trust!

In Tuesday’s episode of “It’s Showtime,” where Barbie served as a guest host, the EXpecially For You segment featured a father and daughter duo, wherein the dad wants his child to prioritize her studies over romance.

Host Vhong Navarro saw Barbie’s dad in the audience and asked whether he is strict with Barbie’s relationships.

“Wala naman pong ganun kasi malaki po tiwala ko kay Barbie,” Barbie's dad said.

Vhong followed up, “So hindi po kayo naging mahigpit sa pag-bo-boyfriend?”

“Kahit po hanggang ngayon,” Barbie’s father answered.

The Kapuso Primetime Princess then shared that she never hid her relationships from her parents.

“Ever since, alam ng lahat, ng buong pamilya ko ‘yung mga naging crush, naging MU. So talagang all throughout the process of puberty, womanhood, andun sila to guide me,” Barbie said.

Barbie is currently in a long-term relationship with fellow Kapuso actor, Jak Roberto. She is also part of the successful loveteam BarDa with David Licauco.

Barbie and David are starring in “Pulang Araw,” which is dubbed the biggest historical action-drama of 2024.
