King Charles jokingly reveals his condition behind palace doors

King Charles is praised for his ‘amazing’ return to royal duties amid cancer treatment

King Charles, who just hosted 8000 people at first of the two annual garden parties of Buckingham palace jokingly revealed how he used to feel when he could not engage in any royal duties amid cancer battle.

During conversation with GB News, the royal expert Angela Levin while heaping praises on the 75-year-old monarch for his dedication towards the people and royal duties revealed, “Charles is scurrying around as much as possible" and carrying out "up to three engagements a day" sometimes.

Levin said, “He's actually going incredibly fast, doing two or three things in one day.”

While reflecting on how King Charles jokingly revealed his condition amid cancer treatment, Levin told the outlet, “When somebody said how are you at the party, he said ‘oh, not that bad’.”

"He also said thank goodness they've let me out, they've unlocked the door so that I can get out," she added.

The royal biographer went on to sing praises for King Charles noting, "You see how desperately he wants to be with us, with the people, and that it makes a very big difference to him.”

She added, "I'm sure that will help him with his treatment, because if you really are happy and you really want to be out and about and doing what you used to be doing, then it helps the medicine to work."

This update comes shortly after King Charles and Queen Camilla hosted the first annual garden party on May 8, 2024, on the same day when Prince Harry was just two miles away at St. Paul’s Cathedral for the 10th anniversary celebration of the Invictus Games.
